Public Information Meeting #1 – Thank You!

We want to thank our neighbors in the McKownville community for attending the first public information session for the proposed new firehouse last night, October 25, 2023. Many questions were answered and we are very happy to report that every seat was filled!

During these informational sessions, we are taking note of your questions, and when necessary, will research answers and respond both individually and also to the building project page for the wider community: mckfd.org/building

Our goal throughout the build process is to be as open, transparent, and forthcoming as possible.

Pubic Information Meeting About the Proposed New McKownville Fire House

At 7pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the McKownville Firehouse at 1250 Western Avenue, the McKownville Fire District will host the first of two public information meetings about the proposed new firehouse.

More information about the new building project will be collected and posted to mckfd.org/building.

It is our goal to be as open and transparent as possible, and we hope you can join us for the meeting on the 25th.

Special Fire Commissioners Meeting 10/3/22

A special meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners will take place tonight at 5pm, October 3, 2022 at the firehouse, 1250 Western Avenue.

Please note that future Fire Commissioner board meetings will take place on the first Monday of the Month through the end of 2022:

  • Monday November 7, 2022 at 5pm
  • Monday December 5, 2022 at 5pm

All Meetings will take pace at the firehouse, 1250 Western Avenue.
